Several months after the completion of our factory inspection  in Serbia we recently received our official SABS approval certificate.

Mr Sam Samsoodeen, principal auditor at the SABS, presented the certificate to Mr Dirk Els, CEO of Serbco at the company’s new logistics centre in Meadowdale. Return to Index

May 14th saw the official opening of the latest of our distributors – Serbco Limpopo. Wouter Loots and his team have many years experience in the local construction market. Having already promoted the Serbco brand widely in the area, Serbco Limpopo are extremely positive about the opportunities in the region and are already working on some large projects. New Appointment

South African standards require the use of DZR brass where metal inserts are used in plastic fittings. This is to protect against  corrosion which cheaper brass materials are prone to. Nickel plating of cheaper brass is common, but is not allowed. All Pestan fittings feature DZR Brass, as seen adjacent. Return to Index
 


10 bar cold 16 bar hot
In choosing the right pipe for any hot and cold water plumbing application it is vitally important to know the temperature and pressure of the water being transported. Generally Serbco recommends our 10 bar pipe for cold water and 16 bar pipe for hot water. In normal applications this will give you the expected 50 year life expectancy. Return to Index
